Brides are all different. Some know what they want, others need a little more guidance, but some have a creative vision. Jessica was one of those brides. She and her mother came to me with the boldest theme I’ve encountered yet – burgundy, gold and deep purple. When they told me those colors, my eyes got big and I just said, “Oooooooh!”

I seriously contemplated putting on my wedding dress just to hold the bridal bouquet (the above photo is the toss bouquet).

Such a heavenly smell! Here’s a close-up of the sprayed leucadendron:

Yes, I got to spray plants gold and it was amazing.

The bridesmaids’ bouquets were the size of bridal bouquets. Imagine how special these bridesmaids felt holding them!

 

My favorite are the boutonnieres. The bride wanted them all a little different, which is perfect because often I’m left with several flowers with too-short stems.

I couldn’t be happier for the bride and groom on this spectacular foggy Alaska day!
