I’m always learning something new with each wedding. With Ariel and Erik it was sending fresh flowers nearly 1,200 miles. This couple lives in Unalaska and for the first time I shipped my floral creations far, far away.
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again – carnations are so underrated. Ariel wanted burgundy and ivory for her flowers. Burgundy is so in right now for bridal bouquets. Originally we were going to accompany roses and carns with deep red snapdragons but they were unavailable. I’m so glad I went with upright amaranthus. That slight drape helped create a lovely shape to the arrangement.
The bride was crowned with a halo of seeded eucalyptus and white spray roses. It was one of the more unique crowns I’ve ever made.
Erik’s boutonniere was simple and elegant.
And for the flower girl, a simple halo of roses
And one extra crown, just for fun!
I’m excited to have been able to contribute to this long-distance wedding. Congratulations to the happy couple!
